AKIYA2.0 is looking for a Property Sales (Associate) to join our growing team in Japan. This is a sales-focused role for someone who can confidently take prospects from first enquiry through to operations, owning the front end of every deal.
This role is squarely about the sales side of the process: qualifying buyers, presenting properties, and getting prospects to a confirmed point so they can be passed on to our operations team to take through to completion.

- Location: Japan (Hybrid, with a mix of field work, office, and remote)
- Start Date: As soon as possible, 2026
- Compensation: Competitive, Starting from 240,000JPY/month, negotiable based on experience, rises with experience
What you will do
- Owning the sales side of the process, from initial client enquiry through to handover to our operations team
- Qualifying leads and understanding client needs, budgets, and goals
- Presenting properties to international buyers and conducting sales-focused viewings across Japan
- Negotiating offers and terms with sellers, agents, and clients to reach successful outcomes
- Handing qualified prospects over to our operations team once a deal is ready to move forward
- Maintaining an active pipeline, following up consistently, and reporting on sales activity
- Representing AKIYA2.0 with professionalism and a clear understanding of our brand and clients
Who we are looking for
- Sales experience, ideally in real estate, property, hospitality, or a comparable high-value B2C field
- Full professional business proficiency in English (this role primarily serves international clients)
- Conversational or business-level Japanese is a strong plus, especially for working with sellers and agents
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills
- A genuine interest in Japanese property, architecture, and traditional homes (kominka)
- Already residing in Japan with relevant working/residence visa, and interested in long-term work here
