Introducing our new Kamon (family crest) logo for AKIYA2.0!
Long time followers and community members will notice that AKIYA2.0 Inc has undergone a slight rebranding, with a brand new logo and fresh new colour scheme!
Our new AKIYA2.0 Inc logo symbolises a moon and four stars. In the traditional Kamon design, the four stars are stylised as a black circles. In our new logo, four circles represent our four main services; akiya purchase, renovation, property management and akiya stays.
The moon, stylised as a Japanese calligraphy brush stroke enveloping the stars, is a metaphor for universal beauty. As moonlight softly bathes the earth, illuminating the land and houses in which we live, it reminds us of common values that entertwine us, wherever we may be. The light of the stars and the moon that touch the serene villages of Japan is the same light that touches the lands of the world.
We at AKIYA2.0 Inc aim to make a community with like-minded people of the world who love Japan to protect , rejuvenate, and pass down to our next generation the beautiful old kominka of Japan.
We chose to use the two colours teal and black. Teal evokes feelings of tranquility, nature and calmness. Black is the colour of sumi ink, representing Japanese culture in the form of Kamon. Our company name is now styled as AKIYA2.0 Inc . Read as "AKIYA two-point-oh"
